First and foremost, our dogs are members of our family.
We don't often breed, but will do our best to place the right Yorkie in their forever home, whether it is ours or someone elses. We have a very select breeding program and always health test our parents with all their health test results made public and registered with the Canine Health Foundation. It is improtant to remember that no dog is ever perfect. But it is our hope with diligence and dedication that each generation will be better than the last. All puppies are microchipped, vaccinated, and health tested appropiate to size and age before leaving.
We always recommend that buyers do their homework when selecting their breeder and their Yorkie. Knowing if you are wanting a snuggle but or a wild one ready for a grand adventure, let your potential breeder know your family situation and desires for your future fur baby. We also recommend using both the American Kennel Club and the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and good ways to start your search on informaion, local breeders, and tips on finding the dog that is right for your family.
Every so often there comes a time when we retire a dog. For us it is like one of our kids graduating from college and moving out into the real world. For many families having a retired show dog is fabulous as the puppy trials and training are already done, including the spay and neuter! For our dogs it is the wonderful opportunity to be spoiled, loved, and adored with nothing more to worry about than getting mom and dad to make room on thier pillow. Our dogs are typically retired between 4 and 8 years old.
