When I was acquiring my first foundation bitches, Leslie chose one and allowed me the privilege of choosing my own breeding for the second. Phoebe was the result. We spent a very pitiful year in the show ring and then several months more with three handlers. While a beautiful bitch, she absolutely hated every minute of showing. It was at a show in Perry when she promptly lay down in the ring I knew she had won. Of course it was my own fault. From the beginning, Phoebe was my little girl and spoiled to the point she would never bring home that prized purple ribbon. Instead, she has become the most fabulous mother and foundation bitch in my program. She had a total of six puppies in her career, four of which have either finished their titles or are currently showing. But for us, Phoebe, now retired, has been and always will be the Little Princess in the family. Phoebe has has a Normal exam for Luxating Patellas.
